General Loader (Casual)

Action Sound is expanding, and we're on the hunt for Production Loaders to join our Sydney crew.

If you enjoy the physical aspects of equipment logistics, while being a part of the team that puts all the pieces together, then this job is for you. From warehouse production preparation, loading the truck, moving the equipment into the venue and putting it all together, you will have the satisfaction of seeing your work result in a great show.

 

You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with our equipment as you use it, and will work in a friendly supportive team environment.

 

Job Requirements:

• Assist in preparing equipment

• Assist in loading and unloading of vans and trucks

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment handling

• Assist with installation and removal of equipment

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and other crew

• Be available and flexible to work a variety of hours, including day, night, and weekend shifts

Successful candidates will:

• Be tidy, punctual, and wear attire suitable for the working conditions

• Have a friendly and professional attitude

• Be willing to learn and progress

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Good problem-solving and communication skills

• Driver's licence (manual)

Desirable qualifications:

• White card

• Elevated work platform

• Working with children

• Truck licence (MR)

• Forklift licence
